Hey! We're new to each other, so let's take some time to go over your treatment goals and needs. These sessions include 10 minutes upon your arrival to talk about what you hope to get out of our sessions, with the rest of the session being table time. We'll use this to go over your intake form, answer any questions, and to make sure you get the most out of your massage. The session can include many styles of massage depending on your particular needs; I use a combination of techniques including neuromuscular (trigger point) therapy, swedish, myofascial release, reiki, accupressure, manual lymphatic drainage, and visceral manipulation.

Initial General Appointment

You've just had surgery? This is the appointment for you; together we will tailor a session to your body's healing needs. We'll use the first 10-15 to get an understanding of your  goals, how recovery has been going, and any specifics about your surgery that may affect the course of treatment. Utilizing Manual Lymphatic Drainage (and sometimes deeper modalities) this session can help reduce inflammation and swelling specific to plastic and orthopedic surgeries. You'll leave more comfortable and more happy in your body!

Initial Post-Op Appointment

In a Visceral Manipulation session, I use gentle osteopathic hands-on techniques to "wake up" the tissues. If you are looking for relief for something that has been bothering you and nothing seems to work, this might be the work for you. These sessions feel a bit more like physical therapy than massage; the client is clothed comfortably for ease of movement and access to their abdomen. We start by doing a hands on assessment called "listening" and based on what is heard, attempt to bring more movement and fluidity to the various organs of the body.

Initial Visceral Appointment

Hey! We've met before! These sessions are for you if we've worked together before. We will spend less time chatting and more time working on the table, using techniques tailored to your needs and goals. I employ neuromuscular (trigger point) therapy, swedish, accupressure, reiki, lymphatic drainage, and visceral manipulation, depending on what we decide together that you require. Please let me know of any changes to your health history or goals before we begin.
